Studio Calico Mystery Kits

The day was December 12th.  Finally.  My Studio Calico box of goodness was due to arrive and I had been peeking out the window all day in anticipation.  I had taken advantage of Studio Calico's black friday sale where they were selling full mystery kits for $5!  So…I bought 7.  Merry Christmas to me! Alas, I heard the UPS truck and I looked outside just in time to see it…drive by my house.  Wait!  I yelled through the window.  Everything was happening in slow motion.  Come back!!  You have my booohhhhxx!  Nooooooo!  I kept waiting for the driver to slam on his brakes as he passed but he did not.

Lexie stared at me like I was crazy.  Poor girl.  After waiting the rest of the afternoon wondering if I had to endure yet another day without my mystery kits, UPS finally delivered by box at 5:33 pm.  Whew.  That was close.

Studio Calico Antiquary and Valley High scrapbook kits

I was SO excited to receive the Antiquary main kit especially.  I just love the sticker phrases and the soft colors in the paper.

Studio Calico Outer Banks scrapbook add-on kit

Wow, this add-on kit from Roundabout is ah-Mazing!  The femininity of the kit is just my style.  It helps that I have a little girl to scrap about.  :)

Studio Calico Wood Veneers and Flair

These are super cute too.  Can't wait to make some cards with them.

I received 3 card kits: Athens add-on; Bubblegum add-on; Fitzgerald add-on.  I didn't post any pictures because they didn't turn out too well.  (More blame towards bad indoor lighting inserted here).

1 Project Life kit: Double Scoop main kit.  I decided I am going to give PL 2014 a try.  We'll see how it goes.  I'm not doing too well keeping up with my first December Daily!

I also received a grab bag full of other SC goodies and paper.  My dining room table was covered.  Good thing my hubby wasn't home to see the madness!  I'm excited to share what I create with these kits.  I haven't subscribed to SC kits in the last year and just started back up again with the card kit in October.  So this is just the boost I needed to help get me going again.
